Kenya Moore Boyfriend, 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Dumps Walter Jackson
Kenya Moore, the breakout star on season 5 of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" has had a string of controversies since the season began.
The alleged "fake" relationship with boyfriend Walter Jackson has left the former Miss USA at the top of the rumor mill.
After Jackson appeared on an Atlanta morning radio show in December and described his relationship with Moore as "acting" for "fifteen minutes of fame," Moore has announced on Jan. 7 in an interview that her relationship with the businessman is over. Moore, 41, explained the reason for the split in an interview with OK! Magazine and on her personal blog on Bravotv.com.
"Walter said he loves me and he wouldn't be there if he didn't" Moore wrote on her blog on Jan. 8 to address the rumors of why he appeared on the show to begin with. She then explained why she ended the relationship.
"His body language, his nonchalant and often cold tone, and his lack of affection toward me said loud and clear: I DON'T WANT TO MARRY YOU. So why lead me on? Why waste my time? Why humiliate me in front of the world? I was so focused on making the relationship work that I lost the one important counsel that I always give to other women: Look to a man's actions and not his words. I am embarrassed but I hope that all women can learn from the mistakes I've made in love."
In Moore's interview in OK! she revealed that a recent episode when she and Jackson went on a fishing trip was when she made up her mind that it was time to end the relationship for good.
"I had already made up my mind that the relationship was over. The fishing trip was final closure for me."
The former beauty pageant admitted that she should have ended things with Jackson sooner but that she wasn't ready and felt the pressure to stick it out because she would like to have children.
"I would say that my age in having children is an absolute factor in wanting to have a permanent relationship. I have never wanted to do it alone and highly respect the single mothers that have tried to make it work."
OK! asked Moore how she feels now that she has ended things with Jackson.
"I feel relieved. No one should settle for a relationship for the sake of being in one. Once I move to Atlanta the relationship was flushed out. I saw Walter for who he really is and his intentions were false. I'm glad it's over."
Moore added that she is no longer in contact with Jackson because he "not a good person", yet she accepts that it is over because he was "not truthful" to her.
