They're supposed to be silent partners working together on the takeover of Basic Black, but Theresa (Jen Lilley) will have to fight to make sure Kate (Lauren Koslow) doesn't stab her in the back and shut her out of the deal completely on Days of Our Lives.

New Evidence Emerges Linking Chad To The Murders

Both Kate and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) have been keeping Theresa at arms length when it comes to the plans they make for helping revive the company, and they made her furious when they suggested using other designers for the new line instead of her. Now, Theresa knows that there is little chance Kate will consider her serious enough to take on a role as lead designer for the company-and she won't hesitate to fight for her chance to get what she wants.

However, things could change between the two as they now have something very tragic in common. Theresa was recently left mourning when her niece, Paige, was strangled by the Necktie Killer and died. Now, Kate is also in mourning, as her grandson, Will, has officially become the next victim, and was just discovered in his apartment, also dead.

Devastated Sami Returns To Salem

The two women could wind up forming a bond over their mutual losses that could change how things go for them as they work together on the company. If Kate begins to feel sympathetic towards Theresa because she too have now experienced a great loss, she could allow Theresa to have a little more control and say, and will relinquish some of the design power to her as a result.
