‘The Young and the Restless’ Casting News: Which Soap Opera Veteran Is Coming To Genoa City? [VIDEO]
The Young and the Restless has accumulated plenty of new characters lately, including Emma (Alice Greczyn) and Luca (Miles Villanueva), but now there's yet another new addition.
Another new character will be arriving in Genoa City starting in November according to Soap Opera Digest.
The character is a female who will be portrayed by soap opera veteran Jensen Buchanan.

Buchanan appeared on One Life to Live from 1987-90 as good-hearted Sarah Gordon. She then took on a role on the soap Another World where she portrayed two characters, Marley Hudson and her twin Vicky.
The actress moved along to another soap, As the World Turns, where she portrayed Vicky McKinnon, which is actually the married version of Vicky Hudson since the characters from Another World crossed over into As the World Turns.
Buchanan's last soap opera role was in 2002 on General Hospital, but now she is returning to soaps via The Young and the Restless.
"I was really honored that Young and Restless would come to me and say, 'Do you want to do this part?'" the actress told Soap Opera Digest, adding, "I wasn't exactly playing hard to get. I was just kind of retired and was sort of finished with that chapter in my life, but then I found myself beginning a new place in my life, and my children are both grown now, which is amazing because I had them on Another World, and found myself now saying, 'I have the time, and I definitely have the passion again.'"
Buchanan will first appear on The Young and the Restless during the Nov. 13 episode. Not many details have been revealed, but her character's name is Elise Moxley and she's "described as a member of Genoa City's social set," which means she'll probably have plenty of scenes with Victor (Eric Braeden) and all the other affluent residents.
The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
