Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will be just fine!

Goddard injured himself on set back in September during the shooting of a combat scene.

The actor needed to have some serious surgery done on his elbow, which led to him briefly being on bed rest.

His healing process began the moment his surgery was over and just a week after surgery the soap opera star was back on set.

The Australian actor gave his Twitter followers an update about his healing elbow and where he stands with his cast even.

He was able to trade in his cast for a brace so he can have some mobility, which will help with his therapy.

On Wednesday the Cane Ashby portrayer dished it had been "three weeks today" since he had his operation.

"Rehab has begun!" he added while sharing a photo of himself with his healing elbow wrapped in what looks like heating pads or possibly ice packs with towels.

He is even sporting a slight smile, which is terrific since rehabbing can be quite draining, but at least he's staying positive and is on the mend.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
