His youngest and only known remaining child is lying in a hospital bed in a coma, and if and when he emerges he will be thrown in jail for murdering three people, and his father Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) will blame only one person for Chad's (Billy Flynn) current woes on Days of Our Lives.

Distraught Sami Seeks Revenge

Stefano will seek out Abigail (Kate Mansi) and blame her for everything that has happened to Chad, because he will now believe that the love his son has always carried for her is what put him in this situation-where he is suspected of murdering three people. Chad is also in the hospital in a comatose state because he had gone to see Abigail's fiance, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and allegedly tried to attack him, leading Ben to defend himself.

However, though blaming Abigail isn't quite the right direction for Stefano to take with his anger, he isn't too far off to assume that everything that has happened is because of her in some way.

New Evidence Links Chad To Murders

Chad was the only one who successfully pieced together that Ben is the actual necktie killer, and that he has been committing the crimes and framing Chad to look like the culprit the entire time, in an effort to prove to Abigail that Chad wasn't a good guy, securing his own future with her. However, when Chad went to confront Ben about it, the two got into a violent altercation, and Ben, after successfully knocking Chad unconscious, managed to spin the story around so that it seemed like Chad had been after Abigail to make her the next victim-and had attacked him in the process.
