She didn't even know her father had sent her brother back to Paris unexpectedly, and now, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will demand answers from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about why Thomas (Pierson Fode) was sent packing on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke & Steffy Become Curious About Ridge's Motivation In Sending Thomas Away

She learned the news from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and assumed it had something to do with Ridge catching Thomas sleeping with an intern and the resulting fight which ended when Thomas punched his father in the face, However, after walking in on a tense conversation between Ridge and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) she will deduce that there's more to the story-and demand answers about what happened.

"What is going on between you and Thomas?" she asks Ridge in a preview clip for the Friday, October 16 episode.

However, Ridge will still keep the truth from his daughter, choosing to make it so no one ever learns that on the night he and Caroline briefly broke up, she and Thomas had slept together-and that now she is pregnant with his child. To keep the truth from getting out (Ridge couldn't biologically be the child's father because of his secret vasectomy), Ridge told Caroline they would pass the child off as his-and he sent Thomas away to help keep the secret from getting out.

And now, despite Steffy's insistence she know what's going on, Ridge will manage to still keep the truth temporarily hidden.

"This is our baby, and no one, especially Thomas, can ever know the truth," he says to Caroline in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
