Which Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance castaway will put her life in the game in danger in episode 5?

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Talks How 'Cambodia' Is Different From Any Other Season

CBS has released a plot synopsis for the next episode of Survivor: Cambodia, which is titled A Snake in the Grass. The synopsis hints that a female player will take a big risk in this episode, but who will it be?

The synopsis reads as follows:

Jeff Probst Reveals Who Will 'Self-Destruct' In Episode 5

"One castaway embraces a new, more personal style of play for his second chance. Also, one castaway risks ruining a good thing by going against her own alliance."

Let's break down which female player is willing to risk "ruining a good thing."

On Angkor, Abi-Maria Gomes may get out of her alliance with Andrew Savage and Tasha Fox but based on her relationship with Woo Hwang, it doesn't seem likely. Plus, it's hard to imagine Tasha going against Andrew. Either way, the Angkor tribe is not even in a good situation to begin with, so it's unlikely that any alliances there could be referred to as a "good thing."

The new Ta Keo tribe has essentially been the love tribe since the swap. We barely see any airtime from Ta Keo given their winning streak. Ciera Eastin, Joe Anglim, Kass McQuillen and Keith Nale are in a majority alliance there, so would Ciera or Kass flip to work with Kelley Wentworth and Terry Deitz? We've seen very little from Ciera to suggest being uncomfortable with her alliance and Kass is more than happy with how things are going.

That leaves Bayon. We saw in episode 4 that Monica Padilla wasn't on board to vote out Kelly Wiglesworth in the event that they went to Tribal Council. Instead, Monica wanted to create a girls alliance with Kelly and Kimmi Kappenberg to vote out Spencer Bledsoe. We also saw Kimmi refer to a female as a "snake in the grass" in the promo for episode 5. Is Kimmi talking about Monica? Based on Kelly's gameplay so far it seems unlikely that she would suddenly exhibit any behavior that would result in her being called that.

It's possible that Bayon loses the Immunity Challenge and the other three original Bayon members (Jeremy Collins, Kimmi and Stephen Fishbach) agree to send Kelly out, while Monica says she wants to vote out Spencer instead. If Monica is too insistent on going against her alliance then she could find herself as the target to go home, hence Kimmi calling her a snake in the grass.

Then again, Kimmi could be the one risking a good thing by insisting they should vote out Monica instead of Kelly or Spencer.

Either way, episode 5 is shaping up to be an exciting episode as we move closer and closer to the merge.

Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
