Agent Carter is ready to put a 1940s twist on Madam Masque.

The Flash' Season 2 Episode 3: A 'Closeness' Forms Between Two Characters, Who Is Destined For Romance?

The Marvel series has selected Whitney Frost's Madam Masque as their season 2 villainess, a Stan Lee character that's spread across comic book history from Asgard to The Avengers. Now placed in the starlet world of post-War Hollywood, Madam Masque will soon have a new adaptation to add to her anthology.

"She's our villain this year with our Cinematic Universe/1940s spin on the character sort of like we did with Dr. Fenhoff, who was a more modern character, and we're pulling her through time," executive producer Chris Dingess informed Entertainment Weekly. "She and Peggy's stories compliment and inform one another."

When season 2 begins, however, viewers may find themselves sympathizing with the antagonist. Whitney Frost won't be a villain when she enters into the world of Agent Carter. The events of the winter run will push her into nefarious territory, and season 2 will play as an origin story of sorts.
