Beacon Hills' resident genius took a hit during "Status Asthmaticus," and when the midseason premiere picks up, the banshee will be trapped in Eichen House. Luckily, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) will be standing by to jail break his pal.
"Getting Lydia out of Eichen House is ultimately up to Stiles," series creator Jeff Davis teased at New York Comic Con, according to Hollywood Life.
Lydia's (Holland Roden) rescue, however, may only be a piece of the Stydia drama. Davis has something "epic" brewing.
"I think it's definitely going to be a pretty epic moment in this two-part episode of 515 and 516," Davis told Hollywood Life. "I don't want to tease too much because we want it to be surprising, but it will satisfy certain fans I hope. Maybe piss off many others, but that always happens."
Does this mean there is romance in store for Lydia and Stiles? It's a 'ship fans have been advocating since season 1, and perhaps it's finally time to let it leave harbor.
Even if that particular pairing doesn't move forward, any team up between Lydia and Stiles is bound to be entertaining.
