Malcolm Merlyn Will Be 'Messing Up' Oliver's Plans
According to the preview and reports Laurel (Katie Cassidy) will be taking her sister to the Lazarus Pit to bring her back to life. In the preview and stills from the episode, Laurel is seen in Ra's al Ghul aka Malcolm Merlyn's lair, most likely talking to him about getting Sara to the Lazarus Pit.
Additionally a report by TVGuide reveals that Sara might lose her humanity because of the Lazarus Pit, which is known to have serious side effects, and the lease at new life comes at a cost. The report suggests that as Thea (Willa Holland) has already started to experience some of the negative effects of the pit, Sara is likely to get a worse bargain as she has been dead for a few months now.
Death In Premiere Is Not 'A Fake-Out,' Showrunner Dishes
Buddy TV believed its the "worst way to bring Sara" Lance back to life.
Laurel will also be making a guest appearance on Legends of Tomorrow and the TVGuide report reveals that her new avatar will also affect her role on Legends. Legends showrunner Phil Klemmer spoke about Sara's arc on the series. "Her story is really a simple one. It's her trying to regain her humanity, trying to find a human connection," Klemmer said. "It's kind of this paradox that she's selected for the team because she's this ruthless, cold-blooded assassin and what she really wants is to feel again. And these two things are at odds."
The upcoming episode of Arrow, titled 'Restoration', will air on Oct. 21.
Here's the official synopsis:
"The growing tension between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) puts both their lives at risk when they go after Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) and a H.I.V.E. deployed meta-human. However, Laurel is surprised when Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) refuses to do it. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Speed Weed (#403)."
