'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Ben Makes A Shocking Confession [PHOTO]
He has managed to keep his secret that he is the Necktie Killer thus far on Days of Our Lives, but now, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) will begin to implode from his massive secret, forcing him to finally confess the truth to his father, Clyde (James Read).
Salem Mourns & Says A Final Goodbye To Will
Ben has killed Serena, Paige and Will and attacked Marlena (Deirdre Hall) and Chad (Billy Flynn)--who he actually set up to look like the killer in an attempt to make sure he stays away from Abigail (Kate Mansi). However, he's been haunted by flashbacks of his successful kills and the secret has been eating away at his conscience. Now, as he prepares to say goodbye to his father before he is extradited to Florida for his own litany of crimes, Ben will tell Clyde everything.
However, when he confesses, he could be shocked if his father admits he knew or suspected him all along-and could be stunned that his father may have been secretly helping him secure evidence that continues to make Chad look guilty-including the mass order of red ties on a DiMera account, as well as the fact that Chad managed to blackout while drunk, which kept him from remembering where he was or what he was doing when both Serena and Paige were murdered.
Will EJ Return For The 50th Anniversary Celebration?
Regardless of who will be the one shocked when the confession comes out however, Clyde won't be sticking around Salem long enough to be able to either continue helping his son get away with murder, or to even have a stroke of good conscience of his own to actually turn against him and turn him into the cops. He is set to leave town to face his charges in Florida-and if his crimes in Salem besides drug trafficking (he killed E.J. over a year ago, stabbed Sonny -Freddie Smith-and tampered with the results of Abigail's paternity test on her unborn baby) are ever discovered, he will potentially come back to town one day to face punishment for them as well.
However, Ben's psychosis which has prompted him to kill has been getting progressively less easy for him to control, and although he has truly become Clyde's son in recent months and learned to put their own murky past behind him, he could snap after his confession comes out-and claim his next victim.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
