His debts have landed him in endless amounts of trouble, and now, in an effort to pay off what he owes to the DiMeras, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will take a big step in his reluctant but deadly plot against his fiancee Hope (Kristian Alfonso) on Days of Our Lives.

Ben Makes A Shocking Confession

Aiden's debts were paid off by the DiMeras under the condition that he find a way to make all the evidence against Chad (Billy Flynn) disappear so he could no longer be arrested as the Necktie Killer after he emerges from a coma. However, the plan wasn't easy for him to enact, meaning a new one has been put forward-where he makes himself the beneficiary on Hope's life insurance policy and then becomes a copycat killer who strangles his fiancee.

Now, after he hacked into Hope's records and entered himself as the sole beneficiary on her $5 million policy, he will need to take the next step in his plan. He has been studying all the notes he can find on the Necktie Killer and the crimes he has already committed-which have resulted in three shocking deaths of Salem residents, as well as one unsuccessful attack. Now, Aiden may need to prepare to do the unthinkable-and become a copycat who will attack his fiancee when she least expects it.

Salem Mourns & Says Goodbye To Will

However, if Aiden's plans manage to succeed, he will be putting himself at risk should the real Necktie Killer-Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) find out he tried to mimic him. Ben has set up the crime scenes and put in the work to frame Chad for the crimes. If another attack-successful or not-occurs while Chad is in a coma, or even awake but in a hospital bed and handcuffed-it will lead to suspicion beginning to fall elsewhere, destroying the plot once and for all and proving Chad's innocence.
