An E!Online report revealed that B.D. Wong will be coming back for an episode in season 17 of Law & Order: SVU.

Taylor Swift Guest Starring In Season 17?

Wong had been a series regular on the show from seasons 4 through 12 and will has generally been a recurring character through other seasons. The Jurassic World actor will be reprising his role as Dr. Huang in the NBC procedural in an upcoming episode titled Depravity Standard.

Mariska Hargitay was the one to first break the news online via her Instagram account by posting a picture of herself with Wong and the following caption:

Wong's character was also known for being the first out LGBT person on the show.

Meanwhile, recently we got a first look at a new character on the show. Olivia's (Mariska Hargitay) newest recruit, Sgt. Mike Dodds (Andy Karl) was unveiled via a clip revealing first introductions from an upcoming episode.

In a sneak peek, titled 'Meet the New Sergeant,' from an upcoming episode Olivia is seen being rather tepid in her welcoming Mike, who is Deputy Chief William Dodds' (Peter Gallaghar) son. The clip has been revealed exclusively by TVLine and you can check it out below.
