'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Abigail Remains Conflicted About Chad's Innocence [PHOTO]
She's been trying to help him prove he isn't the Necktie Killer all along, but Abigail (Kate Mansi) will now find herself more torn than ever about Chad's (Billy Flynn) innocence on Days of Our Lives.
Aiden Takes A Drastic Step In His Plans
Not only did she initially set him up for hypnosis with Marlena (Deirdre Evans), but she also kept him hidden away after the attack on the psychologist, all because she believed he was innocent and wouldn't have tried to kill her, Serena or Paige. However, after the attack which killed Will (Guy Wilson), and the supposed attack on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) which put Chad in the coma he's currently in,, she will start wondering if the man she knew really could be guilty of these crimes.
While conflicted, Abigail will pay Chad a visit, hoping to determine whether or not she should still believe in him. Though she can't believe he would have hurt Will because they were friends, the attack that Ben claims happened because Chad was after her is what is leaving her in such a confused state-and she may hope Chad can wake up in order to explain to her why he would have turned on her after everything they had been through together.
Ben Makes A Shocking Confession
However, what Abigail doesn't know is that Ben has crafted a very different story concerning what happened between him and Chad. Ben is the actual killer, and has been working to frame Chad so he can be sent to prison and would stay away from Abigail for good. Unfortunately for Ben, Chad figured out he was the one framing him after Will's death-but his planned confrontation went horribly wrong after things got violent and Ben nearly killed him as well. And though Chad may still believe he is innocent when he wakes up, he may not remember what he had learned before he was knocked out-giving Ben another chance to capitalize on the situation and make another strike.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
