'Sister Wives' Season 6 Spoilers: Kody & Robyn Head To Court In Custody Battle—Will They Win? [VIDEO]
They shuffled around the legalities of their marriage in an effort to successfully adopt her three children from a previous marriage, and now, Kody and Robyn will learn if it was all worth it on Sister Wives.
Will Brown Baby No. 18 Be A Boy Or A Girl?
With Meri's help and encouragement, Kody legally divorced his first wife and legally married Robyn. Since then, the couple found success at convincing Dayton, Aurora and Breanna's father to legally sign over his right to being their father-but the process still needs to approved by a judge.
In the October 25 episode, the couple will finally stand before a judge and receive the decision that could change everything for their family. Either the judge gives Kody custodial rights and allows him to legally adopt and provide for the kids-or he turns him down-making the effort previously put in, as well as the restructuring of the family, all for nothing.
Robyn & Meri Both Announce Big News To The Family
However the verdict turns out when it comes to the couple's attempt to adopt, at least one piece of good news will surround the Brown family. Kody and Janelle's oldest daughter, Madison, will come home from school to share big news with the rest of the family about her relationship with her boyfriend, Caleb Brush-letting her parents, other moms, and many siblings know that she is going to be the first kid to tie the knot.
Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
