'Orange Is the New Black' Season 4 News: Uzo Aduba Tweets 'Thrilled' Look Of Co-Stars On Set!
Things are not looking fun at Litchfield Penitentiary, a.k.a. the set of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black.
Is There Any Hope Of Sophia & Gloria Making Up On 'Orange Is the New Black' Next Season?
The cast and crew of Orange Is the New Black are currently in production for season 4 and things could not be more gloomy! Uzo Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on the Netflix series, posted a photo on her Twitter account Tuesday that was almost comically serious.
Picture in the photo are Laura Gómez and Jessica Pimentel, who play Blanca and Maria, respectively, on the series. They are dressed in character and sitting at a table in the prison, looking particularly glum.
'Orange Is the New Black' Creator Jenji Kohan Dismisses Her Show Being Labeled
The cast of Orange Is the New Black has been relatively quiet lately with filming continuing. Co-star Dacha Polanco, who plays Daya, did recently tease what she wanted from season 4 at least.
"I want to see her break out of her shell. She needs to react more to situations," Polanco told Entertainment Weekly, of Daya. "If the things that happen to her happened to me, I would be extremely upset, I'd be rebellious. So I'd like to see another side of her. I want to see her take the bull by the horns, grow up and stop worrying about her mother so much."
As for whether Daya will ever get back with Bennett, chances are unlikely. Plus, he isn't even a priority for Daya right now.
"I would love to see that, but you have to be realistic," Polanco said of Daya reuniting with Bennett. "He walked out of her life and her main priority right now is figuring out how she can take care of her child."
Orange Is the New Black season 4 is expected to be released in summer 2016 on Netflix.
