Doctor Who is ready to scare your pants of with it's first ever found footage episode.

Aptly titled "Sleep No More," episode 9 will be comprised of video discovered in the wreckage of Le Verrier Space Station.

"This is footage collected from a space rescue mission," Showrunner Steven Moffat teased, according to Spoiler TV. "If you value your life, your sanity, and the future of your species, DO NOT WATCH IT."

As we know from every horror movie ever created, such a blanket ultimatum is like catnip. At least the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) won't have to worry the decision to press play - since the episode will be found footage from start to finish, viewers already know that Twelve and Clara (Jenna Coleman) will find their way aboard the flagging outpost.

In fact, the Mark Gatiss episode may not even feature the instantly recognizable tune of the Doctor Who credits.

"We're considering not even having opening titles and just running the footage," executive producer Brian Minchin teased over the summer, according to Doctor Who TV.
