After months of planning, the night everyone in Salem has been waiting for has finally arrived-the Bicentennial Gala is about to begin on Days of Our Lives.

A Desperate Ben Kidnaps Abigail?

The night is a big deal to those in town, as they celebrate the history of their small town with a grand dance and party, that will also double as a huge wedding for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove). However, the night could quickly turn into a disaster with danger lurking around every corner.

While Hope and Aiden's wedding plans are supposed to be a happy celebration, the nuptials are going to be clouded by Aiden's dark secret-that he will kill Hope before the night is over. His gambling debts were paid off by Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis-in exchange for his killing Hope after their marriage so he could benefit from her life insurance policy and pay them back. And though Aiden is successfully keeping anyone from guessing what he is up to, the DiMeras attendance at the gala-and their ominous interaction with Hope, will put a dark spell over things.

In addition, the town has been plagued by the recent serial killings of the Necktie Killer-whom is believed to now be in custody. But while everyone celebrates, assured that Chad (Billy Flynn) is behind bard and can no longer cause danger, the real murderer, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) will be pushed to extremes he never expected after his fiancee, Abigail (Kate Mansi), lerns the shocking truth about what he has done.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
