'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Derek Hough Talks Bindi Irwin's Timing Being 'Off' In The Team Dance
Grammer was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars at the end of last night's episode, as the remaining celebs went from seven to six. This also happened to be a week where the celebs paid tribute to icons in their lives and for Grammer, he helped honor his late mother, Kathryn.
After being eliminated, Grammar said that it was "kind of fitting" to be eliminated this week just as he was honoring his mom.
Tamar Braxton Was Not A Fan Of Her Most Recent 'Dancing With the Stars' Clip Package
"It's been a really sweet process. It helped me kind of grieve through it," he said, of how DWTS helped in coping with his mother's death.
Grammer called his partner Allison Holker "amazing," and said, "I got a lot of awesome friends out of this and you all have been very lovely to me ... ."
There are now only a few more eliminations left before the live Dancing With the Stars finale. As it stands now, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough and Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess look to be frontrunners to make it to that finale night. Both couples have received high scores from the beginning of the competition and rarely had an off week.
Assuming those two make it to the finale, there are four celebs fighting for one spot, and each of them have had their highlight and lowlights. Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy, Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas and Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson are all on very level playing field right now. Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold are probably the weakest right now, though America has clearly fallen for him, so he could go further than expected.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
