In a matchup of the Premier League, the Chelsea squad will host Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

The two football clubs last faced one another in the FA Cup 11 days ago with the Blues dominating the Saints at St. Mary's via 5-1 margin.

The game against Southampton is a must win for Chelsea in order to keep its Premier League aspirations alive.

Although the Blues have played impressive football on the road, they've had a tough time doing it at its home field. The team has been subpar at the Bridge as of late, losing to both Swansea and the Queens Park Rangers.

The two defeats have reignited the fan criticism of Rafeal Benitez and striker Fernando Torres.

Benitez addressed the Chelsea fans recently by saying the following, according to Daily Mail:

"All the fans, everyone around, want to win. Some of them maybe will show more or less passion. But every proper fan will want their team to win. It's not the case that whatever I do I will be criticized, not if I carry on playing games and doing well.

The main thing is to concentrate on doing things well. I am professional and doing my best, spending a lot of time here. If we continue winning games, we can do well. Anyone who's a fan of the club wants their team to win. They'll enjoy us carrying on winning and doing well. That's my feeling."
