So what was up with Ciera Eastin voting for Andrew Savage in the latest episode of CBS's Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance?

Last night's episode of Survivor: Cambodia was chaotic in the best way, with conflict, vote splitting and constantly shifting alliances. One of the season's most dynamic players, Kass McQuillen, was voted out but Ciera certainly made a big impression.

Ciera and Kass originally had Abi-Maria Gomes, Joe Anglim, Keith Nale and Kelley Wentworth in their alliance but most of those players got off the sinking ship by the end of the night. While Abi-Maria stayed with them and voted for Tasha Fox, everyone else voted against the duo. But why did Ciera vote for Savage?

Is There More To The Story Behind Monica Padilla's Elimination From 'Survivor'?

Ciera explained the reasoning behind her lone vote for Savage on Twitter:

So there you have it. Ciera's vote for Savage was essentially a long term move, in the hope of potentially working with Tasha in the future. Ciera and Savage clearly have beef to the point that there's little to no chance they'll work together later in the game, which explains her vote.

But now that Ciera has lost her closest ally in Kass, will she be next on the chopping block? Savage will probably try to lead the rest in getting her out next, but if there's anything Ciera's good at, it's getting out of jams.

Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
