The Liars' former nemesis will drop by Rosewood during season 6B, but her brief appearance in the winter trailer has some viewers wondering just how involved Mona is in the new storyline. Series creator Marlene Davis soothed their fears during a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday.
"Mona is a lot more prominent in 6B," King promised.

With Charlotte/CeCe out of the picture, Rosewood will see another baddie come to the fore. Unlike the Liars' last tormentor, this new enigma won't be afraid to pull the trigger.
"It's definitely life or death, and it's smarter and edgier and deadlier," Lucy Hale (Aria) told MTV. "The stakes are definitely a lot higher. It's not 'I'm going to expose your secrets.' It's 'I'm going to kill you if you don't give me what I want.'"
Mona should watch out. Faking her death may no longer be an option.
Pretty Little Liars will return to ABC Family (soon to be Freeform) on Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
