She quickly left Salem again after her son's funeral, but after her foray to Switzerland following a letter from her deceased husband which told her to go there, Sami (Alison Sweeney) will once again grace the town with her presence on Days of Our Lives.

Steve And Bo Arrive Back In Salem

She is now back after completing her mission, and she will return with startling and unexpected information which she will share with her loved ones, especially Eric (Greg Vaughan), the only one she initially shared her plans with. After going to Switzerland to find a supposed safe deposit box with proof that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) may have been behind EJ's murder, she may now have something else completely unexpected to share.

Instead of proof that Stefano killed his son (a crime he actually did not commit), Sami may have instead found proof of what happened after EJ's death instead-something she never dreamed of learning.

Abigail Makes A Desperate Attempt To Escape Ben

After EJ was shot dead in the Salem park by Clyde's flunky, Stefano employed his daughter Kristen to sneak into the morgue and inject EJ with a mystery serum-though what the purpose of that was has not yet been realized. Soon after, Sami was given an urn of ashes she presumed were EJ's-though Stefano made sure she didn't actually have EJ"s remains.

Though she likely didn't find proof of that scheme, she may have found some other evidence that could tell her that her husband may not be quite as dead as she thought-and it could send her off on another adventure that she never expected she would take.
