'Z Nation' Season 2: Syfy Renews For Third Season, What's Next For Operation Bitemark? [VIDEO]
Z Nation is in for another year of Murphy's shenanigans .
Syfy's cross-country zombie adventure has been renewed for a third season, Deadline reported on Friday. Warren, 10k, Citizen Z, and the rest of the crew will return for 15 episodes should they survive the season 2 finale.
Z Nation follows the story of Warren's westward-bound Operation Bitemark. Three years after the zombie virus spread across the nation, Warren and a ragtag band of survivors are responsible for transporting an ex-con across the country in hopes that his blood holds the cure to the pandemic. Murphy, who was experimented on in prison, is the only person to have survived a zombie bite.
Traveling across the zombie-infested expanse of the US has proved problematic and deadly, and the team's situation wasn't helped when nuclear warheads were thrown into the mix. Season 2 has six more episodes to air including "We Were Nowhere Near the Grand Canyon," which puts the team in contact with a warring Native American tribe; "Corporate Retreat," which focuses on the last vestiges of the business elite; and "Party With the Zombies," which bring Dr. Kurian and the Zeroes back into play.
