Girl Meets World's Riley Matthews is no quite as over Lucas as she would like her friends to believe.
Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's friendship is the heart and soul of the Boy Meets World spinoff, but a pesky middle school love triangle recently threatened to tear them apart. Blanchard's character, however, put aside her own history with Lucas in order for Maya and Lucas to have a chance.
While Riley claims to be over the Texan, the teenager is really living a lie.

"I mean, it's obviously a lie. She's clearly putting that on, but I do think it was an interesting way to resolve it," Blanchard told TV Line. "You can only do the love triangle thing so many times on TV, and I feel like we had an interesting take on it, where Riley's basically trying to shut down her feelings for him. I liked how it was really about human nature, what we will and won't do for people."
Will Riley's plan go south? Viewers can jump back into the Rucas/Lucaya storyline this New Years.
