'Doctor Who' Season 9: Mark Gatiss Has A Long List Of Female Doctors, What's The Hold Up?
The Doctor Who season 9 finale will take Twelve (Peter Capaldi) back to Gallifrey for the first time since Ten, Eleven, and the War Doctor saved the doomed planet in "The Day of the Doctor." Sadly, his "Hell Bent" homecoming will be less than ideal.
"If you took everything from him, betrayed him, trapped him, and broke both his hearts...how far might the Doctor go?" the BBC teased. "Returning to Gallifrey, the Doctor faces the Time Lords in a struggle that will take him to the end of time itself. Who is the Hybrid? And what is the Doctor's confession."

Season 9 has been rife with hybrids, from the Dalek/Time Lord combination to Ashildr to the Osgoods, but none of these combinations seem to be the one allegedly referenced in the Doctor's confession. After months of build up, the finale is primed to give us the answers we've all been waiting for.
