'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Get Ready For FitzSimmons To 'Change Forever'
Fitz (Iain de Caestecker), Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), and Will's (Dillon Casey) monolith adventures are far from over, and viewers can expect Coulson's science dream team to make major inroads during episode 10.
In a throwback to Fitz's man on fire routine, the upcoming episode will be titled "Maveth," which, as we all know, is the Hebrew word for death.
And here we thought that ancient scroll was just a one-off to get Fitz fired up.
Fitz and Simmons are nowhere near close to rebuilding the portal - it seems to be gone for good - but Fitz has made another connection linking Will's NASA mission to a cryptic symbol found inside the chamber the brought Jemma home.
"They've got a big task, really, because they destroyed the portal. We don't know that there is another way back. Really we're starting over," Henstridge explained to Entertainment Weekly. "The longer they leave it, the more danger Will is in."
