Supernatural's Darkness might not be as villainous as the Winchesters have been led to believe.

'Supernatural' Season 11: Where Are Sam's Visions Coming From? Jared Padalecki Reveals When You Will Find Out

From her very name to her habit of sucking down souls, Amara isn't exactly painting herself as a benevolent deity. There is a chance, however, that the Darkness is really just a little misunderstood teen.

"It's weird. We're setting it up as the ultimate evil, but there's also this question of, 'Well, is it?'" Jensen Ackles (Dean) teased, according to Entertainment Weekly. "And I think we're going to try to play with that a little bit. So does she think that everyone is the enemy? No, I don't think so. It's an interesting character and I don't know how we're going to deal with it."

'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 8: Prepare For Flashbacks; Why Did Young Sam Need An Imaginary Friend?

What are your thoughts on the Darkness? Is she good, bad, or just misguided? Sound off in the poll below!
