After a 13-year hiatus, the FBI's former paranormal investigators will return to Fox on Jan. 24. Scully (Gillian Andderson) and Mulder (David Duchovny) are not longer an item, but the latter will turn to his ex when a conspiracy theorist and an alien abductee expose an alarming government cover up.

With the help of FBI Asst. Dir. Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi), Tad O'Mally (Joel McHale) tracks down Fox and Dana as the season 10 premiere opens.

"Through O'Malley they are introduced to Sveta (Annett Mahendru), a possible alien abductee who shares shocking information with them that will challenge everything that Mulder has ever believed about the existence of aliens and the government's role in covering them up," Fox teased on Friday.

While the mystery will continue in the background through all six episodes, viewers can expect it to be at the fore for the season opener and the finale, which is titled "My Struggle II."
