Chicago Fire's Benny Severide is here to save the day.
Treat Williams' character will pop by during "Sharp Elbows," and he will quickly become the "voice of reason" as a new struggle threatens to swamp the house.
"[Severide's Dad returns] as a lending hand, voice of reason, so to speak," Taylor Kinney (Severide) told TV Line. "He helps out with a problematic issue that could be really detrimental to Boden, the house and everybody involved."

What is this issue? Well, it may have a little something to do with Boden's beautiful neighbor.
"Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) finds himself in the middle of a fiasco concerning a female neighbor (guest star Ilfenesh Hadera), who he believes is setting him up," NBC teased.
Melissa Ponzio, who play's Boden's wife Donna, took to Twitter on Wednesday to hype the family's upcoming arc, warning viewers that they should buckle up.
"Not Even READY for what's to come on #ChicagoFire ;))) it's gonna be a fun ride for all of us right? RIGHT!?!" Ponzio teased.
