What Will 'Once Upon a Time's 100th Episode 'Honor' To Please Longtime Fans?
While Hook has struggled for years to hide his villainy, especially after Emma (Jennifer Morrison) entered his life, his Darkness will make this nearly impossible. The latest episode of OUAT featured the reveal of Hook to be a Dark One just like Emma, with her tethering him to Excalibur after he was cut by the sword.
With Hook under the spell of Darkness, we will see him return to his old ways in the weeks to come.
Will Jamie Dornan Return For The 100th 'Once Upon a Time' Episode?
"As soon as the Darkness is within him again, he goes straight back to his vengeful pirate-y self, pre-Emma Hook, basically," Morrison told Entertainment Weekly in a new report. "He's operating from the Darkness, instead of the goodness that he's fought for for so many hundreds of years. In the immediacy of it, he's very resentful, but he's operating out of that Darkness that's within him."
Once Upon a Time will continue airing new episodes through Dec. 6. After the 11th episode of season 5, titled Swan Song, Once Upon a Time is going on a three-month hiatus. Swan Song airs on Dec. 6 and the show will take an extended winter break until March 6.
It remains to be seen if Hook's (and even Emma's) Darkness will continue to be a factor in the second half of the season.
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
