'The Flash' Season 2: Barry Gets A New Power For Christmas, Grant Gustin Teases 'Comic Book-y' Reveal [VIDEO]
Barry Allen's metahuman powers will be in the giving spirit this Christmas on The Flash.
'The Flash' Season 2: 'Supergirl' Crossover Coming, When Will Barry Allen Head To National City?
Central City's Scarlett Speedster leveled up earlier this year when he learned how to throw lightning, and soon Barry (Grant Gustin) will have a new skill to put on his superhero resume. A good thing, too, since the holiday episode will see Team Flash square off with the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and the Trickster (Mark Hamill).
"Barry does another thing with his powers that he, in the moment, discovers and that he's never done before," Gustin previewed, according to TV Line. "It's kind of goofy in a way where it's very comic book-y. It's cool."
Is this a development Bar will discovery on his own, or will the Crimson Comet have a little more knowledge to dish out after he re-enters the fray in "Legends of Today"?
Titled "Running to Stand Still," the winter finale will also see the debut of Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale), AKA Kid Flash. Iris (Candice Patton) recently learned of her brother's existence, but it won't be until Dec. 8 until she - and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) - come face to face with their missing family member.
All in all, it sounds like The Flash is whipping up a midseason finale to rival "The Man in the Yellow Suit."
