Irwin won the Fall 2015 season of Dancing With the Stars after two months of hard work in the ballroom. But Irwin is leaving the glitz and glamor behind as she has returned to her zoo in Australia.
The animal conservationist tweeted this week about being back home:

Irwin recently posted a photo on Instagram of her and Derek Hough (her pro dancing partner) winning the Mirrorball trophy. She also wrote a beautiful message to her fans:

Irwin met and broke several records on Dancing With the Stars. The 17-year-old tied the record for youngest winner ever alongside Shawn Johnson, who won season 8. She also broke the record for most perfect scores from the judges in a single season, with eight.
As for the general public, we conducted a poll asking if you thought Irwin was one of the best contestants of all time. Not only do most people think this is the case, but 64 percent actually believe her to be the best contestant ever!
Dancing With the Stars returns for a new season on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
