Jane Lynch may want to work with Ryan Murphy again by starring in his dark anthology series American Horror Story.

Lynch starred for six seasons as Sue Sylvester in Fox's Glee, a role that won her an Emmy. And while the show is over now, she wants to work with Murphy, the series co-creator, again.

The actress was asked by People if she would participate in American Horror Story or Murphy's other horror show, Scream Queens.

"I would love to do something crazy on one of those shows," Lynch said. "I think it would be great."

Lynch's former co-star Matthew Morrison, who played Will Schuester on Glee, said that he too would join either American Horror Story or Scream Queens if he was asked.

"Yeah, me too! It would be fun," he said.

Lynch is a noted character actress, so she could probably fit right in on American Horror Story. But considering her strengths lie in comedy, it would be a stretch to see her in a more serious role.

Darren Criss, who played Blaine on Glee, recently guest starred on American Horror Story: Hotel as a hipster who suffered a gruesome fate.

Lynch also took the opportunity to praise Murphy for all he did for kids and bullying while Glee was still on the air.

"We thank Ryan Murphy," she said. "He's always out there putting his thumb on what's happening in the world and what problems kids are having, and he was the first one on them and he would stop production to have an episode on bullying because some kid was bullied notoriously in the news."

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
