MTV might cancel the documentary series "Teen Mom 2" over concerns about the show's star Jenelle Evans and her erratic behavior, according to sources.

While the show has been a ratings juggernaut for MTV- last November's season 3 debut garnered over 3 million viewers- unnamed sources close to the show said MTV thinks Evans is a liability. MTV reportedly caught flak after "Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood was arrested and jailed last year. Portwood, 22, is serving five years for drug charges and probation violation.

Sources told New York Post that producers are likely to not tape another season of "Teen Mom" in wake of the recent drama from the headline-grabbing Evans. The reality star's antics conflicts the show's mission- to showcase the hardships of getting pregnant at a young age.

"Jenelle is nothing but bad publicity for MTV," Ashley Majeski, editor of TheAshleysRealityRoundup.com, told the Post.

Evans was arrested at least seven times since she first appeared on "Teen Mom 2" and many nude photos of the reality star leaked online during the same time. Her mother has custody of her son Jace, 3, because of her past drug use.

She was sent to a drug rehabilitation program in November and in December, she married Courtland Rogers in shotgun-style wedding after a two-month courtship. She announced her pregnancy in December and tweeted updates with pictures of her baby bump and sonogram photos until Jan. 25, when she had a miscarriage after an explosive fight with her husband of 51 days.

Evans also had public Twitter feuds with family members, ex-boyfriends and with Rogers since they got married in early December.

"Teen Mom" is a follow-up series to MTV's "16 & Pregnant. The fourth and final season of "Teen Mom 2" is already filmed and will air later in 2013.
