Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) is fighting to secure national security back in the 40s, but the SSR agent will have to bump time slots in order to make way for the problems on today. Instead of airing on Jan. 12, the premiere will slide to Jan. 19 in order to make way for the State of the Union.

When Peggy returns, she will trade the Big Apple for Tinseltown. As they journey across the country, Carter and Jarvis (James D'Arcy) will prepare to take on their "most dangerous assignment yet." Featuring Chad Michael Murray, Enver Gjokaj, and Dominic Cooper n the returning roles of Chief Jack Thompson, Chief Daniel Sousa, Howard Stark, Agent Carter will welcome Wynn Everett as Whitney Frost and Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes, amongst others.
It is unknown exactly what overarching threat Carter will take on, but this new mission will involve Madam Masque, the mob, and the mysterious Darkforce.
