Angela Bassett is having a great time on the set of FX's American Horror Story, and she's praising one co-star in particular as being "marvelous."

Bassett recently appeared on the HollywoodLife.com podcast and discussed playing "evil" characters on American Horror Story and which co-star makes her "blush."

The 57-year-old actress, who currently plays Ramona Royale in AHS: Hotel, likes what the show allows her to do.

"I like acting evil on the show - you never do that in real life. It's a chance to go manic, go crazy, because I'm so pulled together and considerate," Bassett admitted.

Bassett got the chance to share a lot of screen time with Lady Gaga in episode 3 of Hotel. While they have not been in any scenes together since then, Bassett revealed how much she enjoys having Gaga around.

"Lady Gaga makes me blush. She's very free, just lovely. It's nice, I appreciate someone who's free with themselves," Bassett explained. "It makes everyone else comfortable because [series co-creator] Ryan Murphy puts you in these crazy situations, and you read the script and you're like, 'alright,' but then you say, 'I signed up, I have to do it!' To go to set with someone who's as big a star as she is, you've had your ideas, everyone's a fan. For her to be so comfortable and embracing, warm, and laughs at herself, easy, and really appreciates what we do as actors so she's marvelous to be around."

Ramona is set on revenge against The Countess (Gaga) but has not met with her face to face yet. Will they come to blows during tonight's episode or one of the episodes to come? Only time will tell.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on FX.
