The NCIS liaison is in police custody after the events of "Defectors," and his old precinct certainly won't roll out the welcome wagon when he returns home in cuffs. Instead of keeping the investigation on the down low, Internal Affairs will parade their "perp" through the booking process.

Thankfully, Deeks' (Eric Christian Olsen) wry sense of humor will keep him afloat through the whole ordeal. Unfortunately, his quips will push his already tense coworkers over the line.

While the attacking detective is clearly out of order, we'd expect Deeks to act the same way if someone killed Kensi (Daniela Ruah). In fact, he has. When the OSP team rescued Ms. Blye from Afghanistan, Deeks tried his hand at a little enhanced interrogation. Needless to say, it was a very, very brief foray into the world of water boarding.
