'Shadowhunters' TV Show: Will The Sizzy & Malec 'Ships Enter The Fast Lane? 'Love Triangles' Multiply At Lightning Speed [VIDEO]
Shadowhunters may hit the accelerator on the series pivotal relationships.
Adapted from Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments novels, the ABC Family series will dive headlong into the world of mundanes, nephilim, and demons on Jan. 12. As the beloved characters move from book to screen, TMI fans can expect the romance to heat up and the fight scenes to intensify.
We already know Isabelle Lightwood (Emeraude Toubia) and Simon Lewis (Alberto Rosende) will meet someplace other than the Institute's kitchen, and now that Magnus (Herry Shum, Jr.) will enter the fray at Pandemonium, it seems the Malec and Sizzy 'ships could sail sooner than anyone ever expected. Series composer Ben Decter teased the upcoming timeline.

"So many couples- like every which way. Episode 4 is like an overload...," Decter teased in November. Episode 5, meanwhile, will play host to some "major sexual tension."
"Sexual intensity keeps ramping up as the episodes move along, so that's fun," Decter tweeted, later adding that "the love triangles multiply" episode by episode.
By episode 7, someone will be sharing their first kiss, but won't be Magnus and Alec (Matthew Daddario). Book readers should know instantly whom Decter is referring to.
