Starter Wives Confidential: Lamar Odom's Ex Trash Talks Khloe Kardashian
Liza Morales held on to a lot of anger stemming from her ex-husband Lamar Odom’s decision to marry Khloe Kardashian. When Kardashian, 28, married Odom, 33, in 2009, after a month of dating, it was later revealed that he left his then-wife for the reality TV star. For the first time, viewers heard the other side of the love triangle on TLC’s “Starter Wives: Confidential.”
The Starter Wives: Confidential features a cast of exes who have been in the shadows of their famous counterparts. The cast is rounded out by Tashera Simmons, the ex-wife of rapper DMX, Zakia Baum the ex of rapper Jermaine “Maino” Coleman, Monica Joseph Taylor, the ex-wife of DJ Funk Master Flex, and former Mob Wife Cheryl Caruso the wife of mob boss, Phil Caruso. The show centers around the women moving on after their relationships failed.
Given a chance to talk openly about her thoughts concerning her ex’s new wife, Morales didn’t pull any punches. Morales struck a painful blow as Kardashian has dealt with fertility issues and desperately wants to have a child of her own.
“I don’t know if she’s good maternally, I don’t know. As long as my kids are good, I’m good. As long as my kids are taken care of and I haven’t heard anything negative then, I’m good”, she said.
Morales waved off any similarities between her and Khloe. “I’m 100% Puerto Rican and I was here first. I was here first, so she has a resemblance to me. I don’t see it. We both have dark hair. We both have a cherub face. I don’t think we look alike, but I have heard it. Imitation is a form of flattery!”
She also explained her disgust for Odom's departure shortly after their son died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Detailing how the Clipper's star player grew distant when tragedy struck, Morales asked, “Who abandons their lady?”
Morales said she hasn’t had sex since she split with Odom four years ago and she’s just waiting for the right man. “I’m not waiting for marriage; I’m just waiting for a good man. I will be like a caged animal out of the Bronx Zoo,” she said.
