'The Leftovers' Renewal: Fans Dress As Guilty Remnant Outside HBO Headquarters To Campaign For Season 3 [PHOTOS]
HBO's critically acclaimed drama series The Leftovers concluded its second season last night in epic fashion - but many fans are now campaigning for a third season.
Is HBO Going To Cancel Or Renew 'The Leftovers'?
The Leftovers became one of the most critically beloved shows on television this year, yet HBO still hasn't renewed it for season 3. Series co-creator Damon Lindelof said in a HitFix interview after last night's finale that he still wants to create more episodes of the series, despite last night's finale ending in a satisfying manner.
Well now some particularly creative Leftovers fans have taken to the streets of New York City, campaigning for a renewal outside the HBO headquarters. Fans of The Leftovers are dressed in all white, smoking cigarettes and holding signs asking the network to renew the series. If this ritual sounds a bit familiar it's because it's the exact same tactic as the Guilty Remnant, a.k.a. the infamous cult featured throughout the show.

HBO has yet to make any response to these protestors or the possibility of a Leftovers renewal.
