'Supernatural' Season 11: Will Rowena Kill The Winchesters? Ruth Connell Teases Epic Midseason Finale [VIDEO]
Supernatural's Rowena has Winchesters on the brain.
The witch has been MIA for most of season 11, although her brief appearances have left fans wanting more. The Scottish enchantress will reappear in Wednesday's midseason finale, and Ruth Connell (Rowena) has a few teasers to get viewers psyched for "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?"
Rowena kicked off the fall run with a recruiting scheme for the Mega Coven, and, well, it's safe to say her plans didn't quite pan out. While she is still planning on creating a network far more powerful than the Grand Coven, Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) mom will turn her attention towards Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as the winter hiatus begins.

"I think the next time you see [Rowena], it's more Winchester-oriented. Let's just say that," Connell told TV Addict.
But why even let the hunters live? That's a question Connell promises episodes 9 and 10 will touch on.
"It's all about the coven. And in the episode we just filmed [episodes 11.09 and 11.10], you get a bit more of the backstory," Connell teased. "You hear more about the human element to this and [she's got all this power, but she's not killing the Winchesters and she can't let go of the coven idea]."
From Lucifer to Rowena to the Darkness, the Dec. 9 episode is certainly stacking the deck for an epic storyline. Find out more when Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
