Will Ben Higgins become the latest "Bachelor" to join ABC's Dancing With the Stars?

Pro-Footballer Rashad Jennings Talks If He'll Do 'Dancing With The Stars'

He has yet to fully find love on television, but Higgins is ready for another TV opportunity. Higgins will be the new "Bachelor" on ABC's The Bachelor, premiering on Jan. 4. But after the show is over he is hoping to stay in the ABC family by competing on the ballroom competition.

Higgins spoke with E! News about the possibility of joining Dancing With the Stars in the spring.

Is Brandi Glanville Hoping To Compete On 'Dancing With the Stars'?

"I think I'm excited about what experiences are next in life. Just like I never expected to be on The Bachelorette, I never expected to be the Bachelor, I don't know what to expect next and I'm open to anything," he admitted. "I have a great life. I love my life here in Denver. I don't want to chance my life, but if there's opportunity to enhance it, I'm all for it!"

And he would hardly be the first Bachelor/Bachelorette alum to compete on Dancing With the Stars. Chris Soules, Sean Lowe, Melissa Rycroft, Jake Pavelka and Trista Sutter have all competed on the dance competition, with Rycroft winning season 15, the show's only All-Star season.

Higgins previously appeared as a contestant on season 11 of The Bachelorette, ultimately coming in third place.

As always, ABC has yet to comment on any Dancing With the Stars cast rumors.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 premieres Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
