As Season three continues to move forward on ABC's show Pretty Little Liars, fans of the hit program's most beloved characters continue to flock the Internet for the latest scoops.

While most rumors come from celebrity gossip columnists, series star Shay Mitchell, who plays the role of Emily, was actually the one to spill the beans while speaking via video interview to Celebuzz at her perfume release party.

"This season, I would say that there might be one person that gets removed from Rosewood and possibly due to the 'A' team."

While Pretty Little Liars fans' heads are most likely spinning with speculation on just who Mitchell is referencing, she did reveal that her character Emily would be delving more into the past of Alison.

"Well, it's interesting especially since Emily found out a lot about Ali from the summer before in her journal and now she's trying to get down to the bottom of it. If everything that she read in [Ali's] diary" holds out to be true.

The 25-year-old beauty went on to explain that there are numerous reasons for the character to be skeptical "because Ali kind of enhanced a lot of stuff back in the day."

Meanwhile, Emily is also set to get a visit from U.S. gold medal Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin, who will be guest starring on a future installment of the show.

"I told her about my coaching when I was doing the swimming thing for Emily and I actually had a coach for two weeks prior to this one episode. And I was like, 'I don't know how you did it.' It was so tiring. She was amazing. She was like, 'Honestly, you need to eat a lot before and after," Mitchell said.

The bright young actress also commented and commended Franklin on her seemingly natural acting chops.

"She was great. She was such a pro when she was on-set. She hit her mark every single time and didn't forget her lines once. She was really fun to work with," Mitchell added.

Pretty Little Liars airs on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST on the ABC network.
