The Voice has a new champion. Jordan Smith of Team Adam became season 9's winner on as Tuesday's finale came to a close.

A fan favorite since day one, Smith has racked up the votes all season long. After receiving the iTunes Top 10 multiplier five times during the live shows, Smith was the only contestant to land all three of his finale songs (Climb Ev'ry Mountain, God Only Knows, and Mary, Did You Know) on the singles chart.

Needless to say, Smith's win was not a surprise.

That's not to say that the vocal powerhouse didn't have some stiff competition. Team Blake Shelton's Emily Anne Roberts gave Smith a run for his money as she handily snagged second place, and third place winner Barrett Baber was no slough. Even Jeffery Austin, who managed to grab fourth, turned in a swath of top-notch performances.

The victory marks the third overall win for Team Adam. The Maroon 5 frontman is still sitting in second place when compared to Team Blake's four triumphs.
