He's been secretly in love with her for months, but now, Rafe (Galen Gerig) must put all of his romantic feelings for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) aside when he is forced to do the unthinkable and arrest her for murder on Days of Our Lives.

Chad and Abigail Finally Reunite

Rafe knew Hope was after revenge against the people she blamed for Bo's death, because they held him captive for so long that he was unable to receive the treatment he needed for a brain tumor--which claimed his life not long after he returned to Salem and saved Hope from Aiden's attack. After getting her suspended from the force her scheme, Rafe knew she was still up to no good. And after learning that Dr. Malcolm, Hope's target, was found shot to death in the park, he will be forced to confront the truth: that Hope may have done the unthinkable and committed murder.

However, after Rafe arrests her, Hope will vehemently deny having anything to do with Malcolm's death, as she had made a plan with him to pay him a large sum of cash in exchange for information that included his boss' identity. However, the plan was changed when Hope arrived at the designated meeting point with the money only to find out that her daughter Ciara (Vivian Govanni) was being held captive, and would be killed if Hope didn't reveal everything she knew about the miracle drug that cured Caroline (Peggy McCay).

Hope Risks Everything To Save Ciara

Not long after she got Ciara back, though, Malcolm was shot to death--and Hope had gone missing from her home, with her gun--and proving her innocence could prove to be more difficult than she imagined.
