'NCIS: LA' Season 7 Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Gets Explosive - At A Nuclear Plant [PHOTOS]
NCIS: Los Angeles will get an unhealthy dose of radiation over the winter hiatus.
The CBS drama will return to the lineup on Jan. 4, and Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) team will kick off the new year by paying a visit to a old nuclear plant. Unfortunately for the OSP gang, their visit won't go entirely as planned.
"Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) go undercover at a decommissioned nuclear power plant as the team investigates the radiation poisoning of a Gunnery Sargent moonlighting as a security guard at the plant," CBS said of "Core Values."

Photos for the episode indicate that the LAPD detective and the NCIS agent will need to hit the floor - possibly more than once.
Granger (Miguel Ferrer), meanwhile, will be busy tying up a loose end from "Cancel Christmas." The Assistant Director claimed to know the team's holiday suspect, even producing a photo of her mother from before her birth. As the spring run begins, Granger will be tasked with chaperoning Jennifer Kim (The Flash's Malese Jow) to DC.
"In the next episode, we learn that Granger is escorting the girl to Washington, and our guys wonder why he would take such a personal interest in what just seems like a routine suspect," executive producer R Scott Gemmell told TV Insider. "That's a hint that there is more there than what meets the eye."
