'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Kayla's Worst Nightmare Comes True When She Comes Face-To-Face With Ava [PHOTO]
Things were finally working out for her and Steve (Stephen Nichols) and their plan to reunite as a family with their son, but Kayla's (Mary Beth Evans) worst fears will come true when she realizes Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is back in Salem on Days of Our Lives.
Ava had been obsessed with being with Steve for years in the past, after the two became an item when he suffered from the memory loss that kept him from remembering his life with Kayla. However, when he was kidnapped by the DiMeras and left Ava at the altar, she became psychotic and her obsession truly grew.
Among her evil plots to keep Steve for herself were a failed plan to sabotage a plane carrying Steve and other members of the Brady family--which resulted in Shawn Brady Sr.'s death. When she returned to Salem and witnessed a hug between Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Steve, she assumed Hope was his wife and kidnapped her. Steve, Kayla and Bo also quickly became her prisoners, who she tortured.
Chad & Abigail Finally Reunite
After they were rescued and Ava was revealed to be on the wrong medications for her disorder, she appeared to be ready to go on the straight and narrow, even as she faced charges for Shawn's death. However, after she learned that she may not beat the charges, she skipped town and jumped her bail--and hadn't been seen since.
However, when Kayla comes face-to-face with her again, she will realize that Ava may have been the one who partnered with Joey (James Lastovic) to get her and Steve back together--and because Ava likely isn't doing anything out of the goodness of her heart, her return will give Kayla reasons to truly worry about the safety and security of her family.
Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
