The conflict between Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has officially reached a boiling point on The Bold and the Beautiful, and now, Liam (Scott Clifton) will do whatever he can think of to try and keep the peace between the two.

Ivy Takes Renewed Action Against Steffy

After the accident where Ivy was electrocuted, she issued a restraining order against Steffy--which she ignored in an attempt to try and get Ivy to reconsider. That incident also ended with Ivy falling and hitting her head, and Steffy appeared to be getting arrested for violating the order.

"Rules are rules," Ivy says in a preview clip for the Thursday, Dec. 17 episode. "You can't just ignore them because you're Steffy Forrester."

Liam Tries Enlisting Wyatt's Help

However, after Ivy heads back home to continue recovering and Steffy has apparently avoided going to jail this time, Liam will promise his fiancee he will make things right for her.

"Ivy is letting her fear drive her to do things that are actually harmful to both of you, but I promise you I am going to get through to her once and for all," he says to Steffy in the clip.

But Liam's attempts could prove to be a bad idea; when he goes to talk to Ivy, she will start to bring up memories of their past together, and she may begin to hint that she wants to reconcile with him.

"Do you ever wonder where we would be right now?" she asks in the clip. "If she hadn't come back, if she'd just stayed in Paris?"

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
