When Hanna (Ashley Benson), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) return to Rosewood, another villain will obtain the 'A' pseudonym. Series creator Marlene King previously teased season 6B's big bad under the guise of the "Uber Bad." Now, however, the mysterious culprit has a new name.
While clearing up a comment about a definitive season 7 end to Pretty Little Lairs, King revealed the following:
"What I said was "This Uber A story that starts on January 12 will end when season 7 ends." I did not say PLL will end. Just sayin 4 real," King tweeted, latter adding, "Technically I was supposed to say "the new big bad" but let's get real, it's "uber A." #whatwehavebeenwaitingfor."
Well, after two A's and five and a half seasons, it's about time. While the Liars believed they put the A mystery to bed after Charlotte's reveal, it appears the past will come back to bite them a year after their college graduations.
